The 56GS is a series of luxury mechanical watches that achieved a thinner, smaller, and lighter design while being a high-precision automatic winding model. This particular model features a rare 8000 series case for a 56GS. It is rarer than other 7000 series cases, and its robust design has a strong presence. This is a Seiko Grand Seiko Hi-BEAT automatic winding watch. The silver dial and dauphine hands give it an attractive simplicity. While the dial, hands, and crystal show signs of age-related deterioration, the overall condition is good. The case has minor scratches, but no major damage. The hand-setting operation is smooth. An aftermarket leather strap is attached.
