Buyer's Comments

This model is equipped with the 61 series movement, which is said to have started production at Suwa Seikosha in 1968. It was the first Japanese-made automatic 10-beat (high-beat) wristwatch and the second automatic model of Grand Seiko. This is the Seiko GS Hi-BEAT Automatic Ref. 6145-8000. Its silver dial and bar-type hands give it a simple charm. Although there are scratches on the crystal and age-related deterioration on the hands, the overall condition is clean. The case has minor scratches but no major damage. The hand-setting operation is smooth. An aftermarket leather strap is attached.
