This is a Seiko Sportsmatic 5 Automatic, Ref. 41797. The "Five" in its name signifies the watch's five functions: shock resistance, water resistance, date, day, and automatic winding. Its silver dial and dauphine hands give it a charming simplicity. While there is some age-related deterioration on the crystal and dial, the watch is generally clean. The case has minor scratches, but no significant damage. The hands adjust smoothly. The watch is fitted with an aftermarket leather strap.
