This watch is equipped with a high-quality movement, renowned for its perfection, featuring a hacking (second hand stop) function that started production in December 1964. This type of movement, with an added device to regulate the special second hand, is known to be a hard-to-find model due to its short manufacturing period of only about one year and the limited number of existing pieces. This is a Seiko King Seiko hand-wound Ref. 44-9990. The dial has aged from silver to a pinkish hue, and its dolphin hands and simplicity are appealing. While there is some deterioration due to age on the dial and crystal, the overall condition is clean. The case has minor scratches, but no major damage. The hand-setting operation is smooth. An aftermarket leather strap is attached.
