This watch is equipped with the Cal. 4520, a 36,000 vph high-beat manual-winding 25-jewel movement, which is highly acclaimed as the masterpiece of all Seiko mechanical watches. It was manufactured to the Grand Seiko standard of Japan, a proud standard that pursued even stricter accuracy than the Swiss chronometer standard of its time. This is the Grand Seiko manual-winding Ref. 4520-8000. It features a silver dial with dolphin-type hands, appealing in its simplicity. While there is some age-related deterioration on the crystal and dial, the overall condition is clean. The case has minor scratches but no significant damage. The hand-setting operation is smooth. An aftermarket leather strap is attached.
