Omega was founded in Switzerland in 1848 and established its position in the watch industry through its commitment to precision and innovation. In 1894, it released the "Omega 19," featuring a high-precision movement, further enhancing its reputation.

In the 20th century, Omega was chosen as the official timepiece for the Olympic Games, responsible for timing sporting events, and was also adopted as the watch used by astronauts in space. The "Speedmaster," worn by astronauts during the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969, is particularly famous.

Omega also focuses on sustainable innovation, introducing the "Master Chronometer" standard in 2015 to produce watches with high magnetic resistance and precision.
